TOOL | LOOT night #1 1998

A blast from the past!  It was nearly 2 years after the release of Aenima and Tool treated their fans for 2 exclusive nights of music.  This is the 1st of 2 nights in which they would play almost their entire repertoire up until that point.  The special guest that performed with Tool was King Buzzo of the Melvins.  What a fantastic way to visit songs from Opiate, Undertow, and Aenima.  If I recall correctly they didn't play 3 or 4 songs from their catalog, but substituted them with covers on the 2nd night.  The cover that Tool played on the 1st night is by Justin Chancellor's previous band, Peach.  I'll work on the 2nd night soon.  NOTE: I attended both nights but didn't record and want to give recording credit to "duncan" and "distortion" who released these cassette recordings.

However, enjoy this set from March 26, 1998.

I inSISt - 2 Year Anniversary

Not exactly the anniversary but 6 days off and 2 years ago was the last ISIS show in Los Angeles at the Troubadour.  It was a momentous occasion to hear these songs once again, but using a new treatment that a friend educated me on how to master my recordings/bootlegs.  I thought I'd give this another twirl to make it sound better so I increased the brightness of the recording.  I hope you all enjoy this as a 2nd go around from the previous release of this boot.

Gifts From Boris

The 1st night of Boris is now up! I need to get the other Boris sets up from awhile back. Oh yeah, I didn't get the whole entire set for night 2, but will have to obtain it from my buddy CAvis who taped the whole thing. This is the night of the classics! Nice set overall, played my favorite tune, "Farewell." Awesome band. This is the first time seeing them as a powertrio. Enjoy this set!

Boris / V0mp3s

Well, sadly enough most bands end up breaking up.  Gifts From Enola was one of those bands.  It was July 30th, 2010 that they played the pehrspace with You.May.Die.In.The.Desert. and Beware of Safety.  What a great line up.  I have to get that You.May.Die. set up too.  This was a special request for a friend,
Erik Orellana.  Let's commiserate to Gifts From Enola breaking up!  Blast this set on your computer speakers!!!

The Chum is Good

This is a buddy of mines set from last week at King King.  Michael Castillo-Walsh is also in Friday Nights, a band that features Shon Kornfeld, another good friend of mine.  A fun set by this quartet and their first show!  A little bit of hard rock and pop rock sensibilities.  Enjoy this 7 song set!
